Tom and Oscar from Smooth Sailing, will again be running the Start Sailing and Out There Sailing programs on the Barwon River from January 12th - 16th, 2026.

The price for each course is $435 and the course schedule will be: Mornings (8:30 AM - 12:15 PM): Tackers 1 and Start Sailing. Afternoons (1:00 PM - 4:45 PM): Out There Sailing and Tackers 2 and 3.

Start Sailing 1&2 Courses

​

You will learn the fundamental skills of dinghy sailing and enhance your confidence and fun on the water.

​

The only prerequisite is that you are water confident. 

​

Who should do this course?

​

• This course is designed for participants who wish to begin sailing in a dinghy.

• All the equipment and gear will be provided by your accredited Discover Sailing Centre.

• There are no age limits.

• There will be 8 to 10 participants max in the course. ‘Pacer’ dinghies used in the course.
